A software called "Fences" is installed. The desktop content will be appear/disappear when you double click anywhere on the desktop. If you want to configure the arrangement of the desktop content,then right click on the desktop, then select *configure fences* whereby you can follow the following steps:-
tools->take the snapshot of the arrangement which you considered the best->snap it->prompt will appear asking you want to use or not?->select yes then close...
The next time when you viewed the desktop,if undesirable arrangement appears then right click again following the same rule then choose the snapshot that you have taken then use it..
