Throughout the 80s, Christian rock started to become a staple in the music industry, fuelled by bands such as Stryper. Billboard Magazine started to post the top 10 Christian rock songs, and radio stations were starting to play Christian rock. U2[citation needed] also helped bring Christian-themed rock to the surface. They inspired other Christian rock bands to start up around the United States, and around the world. Bands such as DC Talk, Newsboys, Jars of Clay, Audio Adrenaline and many others achieved huge success. Later on in the 90s, Christian Rock achieved even more attention when Tooth & Nail Records hit the scene in 1993.
